Compliant Steel was engaged by Paynter Dixon Queensland to supply, fabricate and erect the structural steel for parts of the Mackay Northern Beaches State High School project. Compliant Steel's scope of works included 10 smaller buildings but still came to a total of over 70 Tonne of Structural Steel.
The complex design of these buildings meant that accuracy was important during fabrication to make sure that when the steel went to site, there was no issues with the erection. Because of Compliant Steel's hand on management philosophy, this made the process more streamlined and the results were a resounding success.
Compliant Steel mobilised their fully equipped site vehicle to be on site for the whole of the erection process as the amount of on site welding involved was quite large. This also made sure the client was happy with the progress and we could help with any changes along the way.
